American Black Walnut American Black Walnut is a soft to medium density wood, closed pored, tight grain, beautiful dark brown colour, with a purple overtone. The darkest natural species to N.America. Sand and finishes beautifully, must watch grain direction when planning, straight forward to machine.

American Black Walnut (2-Tone Colouring) This is a combo board, some of the traditional dark walnut colour, plus some of the white streaks of the sap wood, each board is different, from some mostly dark and some mostly light... quite dramatic... great for elaborate box tops....
